BROCKPORT — More than 100 children received gifts during a post-Christmas celebration last month.
The fourth-annual Christmas Fiesta was organized by the Western New York Coalition of Farmworker-Serving Agencies, whose members include 30 local nonprofit organizations, said Irene Sánchez of the Worker Justice Center of New York. The event, which took place at Brockport High School, included a visit from the Three Kings, who handed out presents.
Gifts, piñatas and food were provided by several community groups, including the Pirate Toy Fund, St. Luke Episcopal Church, the New York state Migrant Education office and Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.
