About two dozen students from Enrico Fermi School No. 17 in Rochester spent the night under the stars at Frontier Field July 31 following the Red Wings win against the Syracuse Chiefs. The Field of Dreams Urban Campout was sponsored by a range of local businesses and government agencies and has the goals of improving community relations with local law enforcement and reducing racial and ethnic conflicts among the city’s youths. Participants were able to set up camp in right field before an overnight downpour pushed the students under the bleachers.
