Several events were held around the City of Rochester in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. A Sept. 15 kickoff celebration at Rochester City Hall included theater performances, dancing and food. On Oct. 8, the Memorial Art Gallery hosted its 14th-annual Hispanic/Latino Heritage Family Day, featuring art, music and dance performances, children’s activities and cultural displays from various Latin American countries.
