The Miss Puerto Rico of Rochester 2010 Cultural Pageant took place on July 10 at the Rochester Museum and Science Center’s Eisenhart Auditorium. The pageant, presented by the Puerto Rican Festival Inc., had six contestants who were judged in five categories: Cultural Expression, a personal interview, Character, Elegance & Poise, and a final judges’ question. Kimmily Lopez was crowned the 2010 Miss Puerto Rico of Rochester Queen and also won the Miss Community Service, Miss Congeniality, Miss Cultural Expression and The Ida Perez Academic Excellence awards. The 2010 Princess winner was Franchesca Colón.
