ROCHESTER — Latinas Unidas honored four local women for their leadership and service during the 18th-annual Reconocimiento Awards luncheon Nov. 10.
The Latina leaders recognized for their contributions in each of four categories were:
* Melisza Campos, currently a Rochester City School District school board member, was honored for leadership achievement.
* Belimar Velázquez, marketing director at Carestream, was recognized for career achievement.
* Ineabelle Geena Cruz, a youth employment specialist for the Monroe County Department of Health and Human Services, was highlighted for her volunteer service.
* Valeria Delgado, a Webster Thomas High School senior, received the youth Latina leader award.
