ROCHESTER — City officials are seeking input from residents about whether officers in the Rochester Police Department should wear body cameras.
During public forums and in personal conversations, city council members have heard support for the cameras, according to a city press release. To gather more input, the city council has created a community survey.
The survey is available online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/rochesterbodycameras. Council members also will attend neighborhood meetings for residents who would like to fill out the survey in person. For more information or to have a survey mailed to a resident, call 585-428-7538.
