ROCHESTER — Several local organizations are leading a campaign to create more safe places for children to play in throughout the city.
The HealthiKids Coalition, an initiative of the Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency, and the PlayROCS campaign presented the Rochester City Council with more than 600 postcards in support of slowing down traffic in neighborhoods with children and including accessibility to play spaces as part the city’s comprehensive plan update.
