ROCHESTER — The Latino Rotary Club of Rochester will honor Father Laurence Tracy in November for his work as a longtime advocate for the local Hispanic community.
The club will host a dinner to recognize Father Tracy for his contributions on Nov. 3 at the Diplomat Banquet Center in Gates, explained Charol Rios, a Rotary member.
The club also is working with the city to plant a garden in his honor near St. Michael Church on North Clinton Avenue, Rios added. The garden also will include a bench and plaque, she said.
