The Rochester Hispanic Business Association recently named Eugenio Marlin as the 2017 Hispanic Business Person of the Year.
Marlin serves as vice president and CEO of Ibero-American Development Corp., an Ibero-American Action League affiliate that specializes in affordable housing and community development, according to a press release.
Marlin previously served as vice president for development and communications at Ibero, and he is the first person from the Dominican Republic to receive the award. Prior honorees trace their roots to Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico and Spain, according to information from RHBA.
