Each year, Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15. Here is a list of upcoming 2023 Hispanic Heritage Month events throughout the Rochester area:
Sept. 14
Hispanic Heritage Month Event at the International Plaza

This free event features live music (Bomba Boriken and 4 Latin Band) and dancing from the Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester.
Sept. 15
City of Rochester’s Hispanic Heritage Proclamation & Block Party

4:30 to 7 p.m.
This free event includes live music, food and an art exhibit inside City Hall.
Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester Visual Exhibition
Central Library of Rochester, Children’s Room
115 South Ave., Rochester
9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Saturday Sept. 15- Oct. 15
According to information on Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester’s website, the exhibition will showcase works of art the group uses during community presentations about different Latin American traditions in western New York.

This free event will feature live music, food and dancing.
