ROCHESTER — The Upstate Latino Summit will make a stop in Rochester this year.
The annual event travels to different upstate cities every year. This year’s summit, which will be hosted by the Ibero-American Action League, will focus on "The Power of the Growing Latino Market," according to information from Ibero.
The Sept. 16 event at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center is designed to highlight issues that are important to the Latino communities in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany and surrounding areas. Workshops will focus on education, health, business development, immigration and the arts.
