BRIGHTON — This year’s ¡Soy Única! ¡Soy Latina! rally will be held April 18 at Monroe Community College.
The daylong event aimed at girls ages 7 to 17 offers information and resources to boost their self-esteem and cultural pride. The event begins with a pep rally featuring the madrina (godmother) for the day and ends with a quinceañero fashion show.
The event will run from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. at MCC’s East Henrietta Road campus. For more information, visit http://latinasunidas.org.
