Police seek community input

ROCHESTER — The Rochester Police Department is seeking community input on issues of safety, professionalism and community engagement.

During a Nov. 7 press conference, Chief James Sheppard and Deputy Mayor Leonard E. Redon announced the phone survey of city residents, which will continue through mid-December.

The survey of city residents, ages 18 and over, will be conducted by the Survey Research Institute of Cornell University. Additionally, residents may visit http://www.cityofrochester.gov/ RPDcommunitysurvey. A full analysis is expected by next spring.
