Parents asked to join school committees

ROCHESTER — Parents are invited to participate on several committees that are part of the Rochester City School District’s Board of Education.

One parent will be selected as a volunteer advisor for each of several committees: policy development and review, community and intergovernmental relations, excellence in student achievement, finance and resource allocation, and audit.

These committees meet on a monthly basis at the district’s central offices at 131 W. Broad St. Parents must commit to serving one year on the committees.
