Parade to be held a week prior to festival

ROCHESTER — This year’s Puerto Rican Parade will be held a week before the Puerto Rican Festival.

The parade will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 3 beginning at Liberty Pole Way, parade organizers said. The route is still being determined, but the parade will conclude with a talent showcase. Additional activities are being planned for the week that will lead up to the 44th-annual festival at Frontier Field’s VIP lot.
