Fall classes are slated to begin at Monroe Community College’s new Downtown Campus in Rochester on Sept. 5.
A community celebration at the new campus will be held in September. The event will include a welcome from President Anne Kress and an open house with campus tours, according to information at http://bit.ly/2w3QL6o.
Construction work was completed this summer on the $78 million project for which planning began in 2014, according to MCC’s website. The new building features seven floors in 255,000 square feet of classroom and meeting space in the city’s High Falls district. The college’s Economic & Workforce Development Center also will be housed on the new campus.
