ROCHESTER — Literacy Volunteers of Rochester will provide several sessions this spring for anyone interested in becoming a tutor.
Many adults locally are in need of tutors to help them learn to read, write or speak English, according to information from the literacy organization. Some also need help with math skills.
Following the one-hour preview sessions, volunteers may register for a training workshop. Tutors do not need to have prior teaching experience or be able to speak other languages.
