Ibero kicks off annual appeal

ROCHESTER — Ibero-American Action League recently kicked off its annual appeal to raise money for the agency that provides an array of community services to area residents.

The agency hopes to raise $75,000, according to information from Ibero officials. The money will fund such programs as scholarships to high-school graduates, start-up business support, youth mentoring services, and emergency and pantry services. Additionally, more than 100 senior citizens are members of Ibero’s Centro de Oro.
