ROCHESTER — The Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency and the Rochester Business Alliance have partnered with the United Way of Greater Rochester to conduct a community survey about hypertension.
About one in three people in the Rochester area are affected by high blood pressure, according to information from the United Way. The survey asks participants about their knowledge about their own blood pressure and their attitudes toward high blood pressure. The information will be used to develop a public-awareness campaign.
The partnership also will provide a series of blood-pressure screenings at locations throughout the area this summer.
Anyone who fills out the survey may do so anonymously, but respondents who submit their names will be entered into a drawing for a $300 gift card. To participate, visit survey.vovici.com/se.ashx?s=201DFDBA4F971376.
