ROCHESTER — Ibero-American Action League will host its 17th-annual gala and Hispanic scholarship recognition awards presentation next month.
Hispanic students from around Monroe County will be honored for their academic achievement during the gala.
Ibero’s scholarship awards are funded by the agency’s Hispanic Scholarship Endowment Fund as well as by community supporters, colleges and universities. Scholarship judges consider such criteria as standardized testing scores, grade-point averages, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation and a short essay from each student about future aspirations.
