Nonprofit organizations who provide financial counseling programs may apply for a grant from the "Citizens Helping Citizens Manage Money" financial literacy initiative.
Groups may submit an application for up to $50,000 in funding from Citizens Bank, with branches in 11 states, including New York, to help people become more fiscally healthy. Eligible financial literacy activities include budgeting, homeownership counseling, foreclosure prevention, credit management and small business management.
