GENEVA — The first Festival Latino will be held downtown later this month.
The Geneva Business Improvement District group is organizing the June 23 festival on Seneca Street, said Rafael Díaz, a member of the group who hopes the event becomes an annual tradition.
The festival will include music performances, food and children’s activities — all of which will reflect the Hispanic culture, said Díaz, who owned El Morro restaurant in downtown Geneva that closed last year. A native of Puerto Rico, he has lived in the area for 11 years.
