ROCHESTER — This year’s ROC the Park Music Festival will kick off with a Latino Family Night.
The three-part festival begins July 23 with salsa, merengue and Latin jazz and Latino food at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park, according to a city of Rochester press release. The festival will continue Aug. 6 and Sept. 3.
The July 23 night is hosted by the city’s Hispanic Heritage Committee and will include performances from Luis Carrión Trio and Sammy Pressure, Next Level and Afrikando.
Gates open at 5 p.m. for the festival events, and musical performances start at 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $6, and VIP tickets, which include admission and dinner, are available at the gate for $20.
