ROCHESTER — The Ibero-American Action League will hold its 42nd-annual luncheon and recognition awards presentation next month.
The luncheon also will include a presentation of the results of a study conducted by the agency and the University of Rochester’s Warner School of Education, which focused on the school experiences of Latino students.
Ibero and the university joined forces last winter to answer the question of why so many Hispanic students drop out of high school and offer recommendations to help solve the community crisis.
The Oct. 16 luncheon will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel beginning with registration at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call 585-256-8900.
