Parishes across the country are being asked to pray for the passage of the DREAM Act for young immigrants as part of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Justice for Immigrants campaign.
The DREAM Act would provide a path to citizenship for youths who came to the United States with their parents, according to USCCB information. As part of the continued call for Congress to approve the legislation, parishes are being asked to raise awareness about the DREAM Act in their homilies and at Masses.
