New queen, princess crowned during 50th-annual cultural pageant

Four local high-school students competed in the 50th-annual Miss Puerto Rico of Rochester Cultural Pageant June 2 at James Monroe High School in Rochester. The event featured the crowning of Widalys Robles as queen and Emiliana Martínez-Nobrega as princess. To mark the pageant’s golden anniversary, the 30 past queens and princesses in attendance were once again given sashes.
