Ithaca churches to pray for migrants, refugees

The parishes in Ithaca will be praying for migrants and refugees during the week of World Refugee Day, which is June 20.

On June 17, the 12:10 p.m. Mass and rosary at Immaculate Conception Church, 113 N. Geneva Street, will be said for child migrants.

The 9 a.m. Mass and rosary June 18 and 19 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 309 Siena Drive, will be celebrated for refugees and trafficking victims, respectively.

On World Refugee Day, there will be an 11 a.m. Holy Hour, following by 12:10 p.m. Mass and rosary, to pray for migrants fleeing their homes. The Holy Hour, Mass and rosary will take place at Immaculate Conception.

Asylum seekers will be remembered in prayer at the 9 a.m. Mass and rosary at St. Catherine of Siena June 21.

All are welcome to attend.
