This year’s performance is titled “Diaspora: We are One.” According to a description on the Rochester Fringe Festival’s website, “‘Diaspora: We are One’ removes that veil of identity to highlight the cultural traditions, beliefs, and spirituality of the diasporic people through movement and dance.”

The Hispanic Heritage and Sickle Cell Awareness Blood Drive in memory of Officer Manuel Ortiz will take place Saturday, September 30.

The event features cooking demonstrations, dancers from Borinquen Dance Theatre and more.

The Latino Civic Association is celebrating the last day of Latinx Heritage Month with a community street fiesta recognizing Latinx culture. There will be food vendors, artists, and performers.
