Crafting culinary creations

The fourth-annual East High School Iron Chef competition took place April 14 at Wegmans Conference Center in Rochester. Six seniors cooked veal scaloppine marsala, glazed carrots, whipped potatoes and haricots vert for a panel of judges that included returning celebrity chef Daisy Martinez from the Food Network. Tajhnae Couser won the grand prize — a scholarship to Monroe Community College’s culinary program.
