Volunteers are needed for the 2024 Rochester Puerto Rican Festival.
The Puerto Rican Festival of Rochester Inc. is looking for volunteers to assist with admission at the festival entrance; provide assistance, directions and details to attendees at the information booth; and manage the children’s arts and crafts activities.
Those interested in volunteering are asked to sign up at https://bit.ly/PRFIVolunteer. Volunteers will each get a free admission day for their service.
The festival will take place Aug. 1-3 at Parcel 5 on East Main Street in Rochester. Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Aug. 1 and 2, and noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 3. Admission is free Aug. 1 and from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 3. Daily admission tickets for Aug. 2 and 3 are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate, $5 for seniors and children, and free for children under 5.
This year’s headliners are Luis Vargas, Jerry Rivera, Hector Jr. “La Reencarnación,” Jovani Vazquez and Joseph Fonseca.
