Third annual Latino Festival takes place in Geneva

The third annual Latino Festival took place at Bicentennial Park on June 14.

Musical acts included Los Traviezos, a Mexican band, los Pleneros de Boriken, Calle Uno of Rochester, Magic William and Los Cantantes de Gata.

The festival also offered a variety of food vendors representing Honduras, Mexico and Puerto Rico as well as information from the Women’s Rights National Historic Park.

The event was a great success and we’re still receiving positive feedback. People danced, ate and had fun.

.A total of 3,000 people attended and this park is now the official site of the Latino Festival.
