Ibero-American Action League and Planet Aid of Upstate NY are sponsoring a free coat giveaway for those in need of warm coats this winter.
The giveaway will take place Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School, 27 Zimbrich St., Rochester. Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the giveaway will end once all the coats have been taken. No income verification or preregistration is needed.
People who wish to donate gently used coats for the giveaway may drop them in any of the yellow Planet Aid bins around Rochester. To find the nearest yellow bin, visit www.planetaid.org/find-a-bin.
