Ibero-American Action League and Monroe County are urging the community to contribute items to a relief-supplies collection for those affected by Hurricane Fiona in Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic.
People can donate diapers, wipes, toilet paper, sanitary pads, deodorant, hair brushes/combs, batteries, solar lamps, flashlights, water filters, over-the-counter medicine, detergent, shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes at six drop boxes across the county.

Monroe County Department of Human Services, 111 Westfall Road, Rochester
Monroe County Hospital, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester
Ibero-American Action League, 817 E. Main St., Rochester
Ibero Community Resource Center, 216 Clifford Ave., Rochester
Financial donations to help families from Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic coming to the area also will be accepted at the Ibero Community Resource Center. Financial donations also can be made online at https://Ibero.org/donate, and donors can choose which cause to support — PR Unidos Natural Disaster Relief Fund or the DR Relief After Hurricane Fiona – Hermandad Socio Cultural Dominicana.
