ROCHESTER — Potential homeowners in the city will now have access to a new lending program.
The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, a U.S. Housing and Urban Development nonprofit that works on homeownership and community advocacy, recently opened an office in Rochester.
The organization provides access to mortgage loans with no down payment or closing costs, according to information from city council officials. The loans will be set at below-market interest rates, and rehabilitation fund opportunities also are available.
