New food pantry opens on campus of Rochester church

The new Rochester Hope Food Pantry, which is a member of Foodlink, opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 12.

According to a press release, the food pantry is located on the campus of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish’s St. Michael Church, 869 N. Clinton Ave. The pantry will serve the community on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The food pantry is operated by the not-for-profit organization Rochester Hope and is staffed entirely by volunteers.
