The Rochester Puerto Rican Festival Inc. has announced the dates and headliners for its 55th-annual Puerto Rican Festival, the longest-running cultural festival in Monroe County.
The 2025 Puerto Rican Festival will take place July 31-Aug. 2 at Parcel 5, 285 E. Main St., Rochester. The three-day festival will feature food, live music and cultural events.
This year’s musical headliners are:
• July 31 from 9:30 to 11 p.m.: salsa icon Jose Alberto “El Canario”
• Aug. 1 from 9:30 to 11 p.m.: merengue and bachata singer Héctor Acosta “El Torito”
• Aug. 2 from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.: 18-year-old Puerto Rican singer Luis Vázquez
• Aug. 2 from 10 to 11 p.m.: reggaetón duo Alexis y Fido
There also will be performances by Ecos Borincanos, Borinquen Dance Theatre, Banda Light, Orquesta Antonetti, Afrikan2, El Batey, Grupo Los Infieles, Orquesta La Muralla, Talia and more.
The 2025 Puerto Rican Parade will take place Aug. 2 in downtown Rochester. There will be an opening ceremony at 10 a.m., and the parade will begin at 11 a.m.
Festival admission is free July 31. Daily admission tickets for Aug. 1 and 2 are $15 in advance and $25 at the gate; $10 for seniors and children; and free for children under 5. VIP tickets can be purchased for each night of the festival and are available for $75 in advance and $90 at the gate. VIP tickets include priority entrance, re-entry, VIP lounge, private bathrooms, VIP bracelet, two drink tickets and a private seating area.
