Events slated in Rochester for Hispanic Heritage Month

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated nationally Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. The City of Rochester presented a kickoff event for Hispanic Heritage Month Sept. 15 at La Marketa at the International Plaza.

Here’s a list of some other events taking place in Rochester for Hispanic Heritage Month:

Learn about Hispanic Culture from Grupo Cultural Latinos En Rochester

Saturday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m.

Children’s Center in the Central Library of Rochester, 115 South Ave., Rochester

Free hour-long program for children with music and dance

Registration required

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at the International Plaza

Saturday, September 24, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Live music, art vendors, food and family-friendly activities

Hispanic Heritage Celebration Day

Sunday, Sept. 25, noon to 4 p.m.
