Events highlight potential of revamped Rochester neighborhood

El Camino Neighbors — Project HOPE and No Más Rochester have hosted four of six “Market Days” that have been planned this summer at the future site of La Marketa at the International Plaza on North Clinton Avenue in Rochester.

The Market Days feature vendors, arts, culture and live music. The events are meant to showcase the potential of the plaza once the area is remodeled as part of the El Camino Revitalization Plan.

The remaining Market Days are Aug. 25 and Sept. 12.

The events also are cosponsored by the Puerto Rican Festival of Rochester, Ibero-American Development Corp., Father Tracy Advocacy Center, Burgos Properties LLC and the City of Rochester.
