Rochester’s International Plaza will kick off its fourth season with a Cinco de Mayo Festival May 5.
The opening-day festivities will take place from 1 to 5 p.m.
The International Plaza at La Marketa, located at 828 N. Clinton Ave., is a Latin-themed event space and marketplace. Market Days at International Plaza take place every Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. through Oct. 13.
In addition to the Cinco de Mayo Festival, this year’s signature events include:
May 12: Mother’s Day Celebration
June 2: Pride Festival
June 16: Father’s Day Celebration
June 19: Juneteenth Celebration
July 7: Fiesta Del Barrio
July 21: International Salsa Day
Aug. 11: Dominican Day
Aug. 17: Geva Latinx Celebration
Sept. 7: Hispanic Heritage Month Kickoff
Sept. 19: Fringe Festival
Oct. 13: Hispanic Heritage Month Closing
