The Rochester Hispanic Business Association is now an affiliate chamber of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
“We are delighted to announce this exciting partnership with USHCC, whose mission is to promote the growth, development and interest of more than five million Hispanic-owned businesses that contribute over $800 billion to the American economy every year,” RHBA Chairperson Lisa Martinez DeVinney said in a press release announcing the affiliation. “As the mission of the RHBA is promote the economic growth and development of Hispanic-owned businesses and Hispanic professionals in the greater Rochester area, we believer our two organizations align perfectly.”
The USHCC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organzation that partners with more than 260 major American corporations. It also receives more than $200 million in annual funding.
The RHBA will welcome Synthia Jaramillo, USHCC’s senior vice president of corporate relations, as the keynote speaker at the 32nd-annual Hispanic Business Person of the Year Gala Luncheon Sept. 19 at the Joseph A.
