Much of the content in this section was producted for “El Mural de la Comunidad,” a collaboration of more than three years among El Mensajero, La Cumbre, Rochester Hispanic Business Association, Latino Rotary and  the Ibero-American Action League. Although El Mural was discontinued at the end of 2018, El Mensajero continues to update this section with coverage of  economic development as appropriate.


Two Rochester-based organizations focused on affordable-housing initiatives received grants from the office of state Attorney General Letitia James for the betterment of housing developments in the City of Rochester.
 

The annual North Clinton Business Association Christmas tree lighting and parade took place Dec. 12 at the corner of Clifford and North Clinton avenues in Rochester.

Bachata music emanating from the Father Tracy Advocacy Center Sept. 29 could be heard in North Clinton Avenue’s El Camino neighborhood as dozens of volunteers completed work to beautify the area make it safer for pedestrians.
