Hispanic Heritage Month events planned for Rochester

Here is a list of upcoming events planned to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, which is Sept. 15-Oct. 15.

Fiesta En La Plaza: Kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month at Rochester Institute of Technology: Featuring Taina Asili and La Banda Rebelde, free food, music and dancing; RIT Global Village; Jefferson Road, Henrietta; noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 14; for more information, visit http://www.rit.edu/diversity.
